The Tasman Feed & Forage Rehoming Network is a community based platform helping connect local people looking to responsibly buy, sell, or rehome livestock and hobby farm animals across the Tasman Peninsula.

We provide a simple and trusted space for our community to share animal listings while keeping all communication directly between the buyer and seller.

  • The goal is to support responsible animal rehoming, strengthen local farming connections, and provide a trusted community space for livestock and hobby farm animal listings throughout the Tasman Peninsula region. And since I already pay a fair amount of money to run this website, we might as well utilize the platform, right?

  • No.

    Tasman Feed & Forage does not own, sell, purchase, transport, or hold any animals listed on the platform.

    The website acts purely as a community noticeboard and referral point.

  • Listings are provided as a free community service.

  • To help maintain a genuine and trustworthy community platform, Tasman Feed & Forage may

    • Review listings before approval
    • Limit listings to known or existing customers
    • Request additional information if required
    • Remove suspicious or misleading listings

    Buyers and sellers are still encouraged to use appropriate care and conduct their own checks before entering into private arrangements.

  • The seller is responsible for notifying Tasman Feed & Forage once the animal has been sold or rehomed so the listing can be removed from the website.
