Do you have a store front?
No, we do not.
To keep the costs as low as we possible can, we have chosen the setup where you purchase the products online and we deliver them to you.
This way we don’t have to develop parking spots, public toilet facilities, multiple insurance policies and many many more expensive costs that will add to the end price of the feed products.
How do I get my products?
We deliver it to you!
OR
You can collect it at the front gate.
We charge a very small fee to cover the fuel costs.
We will always make arrangements with you in advance where we can leave your products if you are not home.
We will only leave it somewhere safe and undercover. We will take a photo and send it to you as proof of where and when we left your items.
When do you deliver?
We will have delivery runs on the Tasman Peninsula multiple times a week, and 95% of all orders are delivered the same day or no later than 24h after being ordered, unless you have arranged otherwise.
This is to make it as convenient as possible for you!
For this service, we charge a very small delivery fee to cover a bit of the fuel costs ($10)
Can I get my order sent with Aus Post?
Yes, we can help you with smaller items (for obvious reasons, we can not ship the 20kg bags or hay products).
If you wish to get some of our smaller items sent to you, please reach out, and we will organize portage for going rates.
Can I Bank Transfer?
Yes, you can! And we love if you do ( so we dont have to pay card fee transactions (3.5%)
If you wish to pay via bank transfer, please let us know what items you wish to buy and we can send you an invoice with bank details.
Once the funds have been transferred, we will arrange either delivery or pick up with you.
Can I Pay with Cash?
Yes, absolutely!
We’re happy to accept cash payments. However, since we don’t keep much change on hand, we’d really appreciate it if you could bring the exact amount or as close to it as possible.

Can you send me an invoice?
Yes, Absolutely!
I ask you to pay the invoice within 2 working days.
I am a sole trader and a tiny business, so all funds go into new stock, as in ALL funds!
So if invoices are not paid in due time, I can not pay for or order new stock.
Can I pay with card if I show up?
Yes… but we’d prefer cash or bank transfer.
Why’s that?
Being a remote feed outlet, our costs are already higher than the shops in town, and even though we keep our prices lower, the 3.5% card fee just about wipes out our profit — and that’s what we need to restock or bring in more brands for you.
But if card’s your only option, no worries — we can still accept it

The easiest way is by text, email or via our social media channels.
We are often busy out farming or looking after animals and do not always have the extra hand to answer phone calls, but we will get back to you very quickly :)

Returns and Refunds Policy
At Tasman Feed & Forage, we aim to ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining fairness in our operations.
1. Faulty or Suspect Products
If you believe the feed you purchased is faulty or something seems off, please let us know. We will investigate the issue and provide a refund if necessary.
2. Change of Mind
If you’ve changed your mind about your purchase, contact us to discuss your situation. We’ll consider each case individually and work with you to find a solution.
3. Hay and Lucerne Purchases
To ensure you are happy with your purchase, we strongly encourage you to inspect hay or lucerne products before buying. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on these items, as they are sold at near-cost prices to support our community.

Out of stock?
As we are a very small and new business we can not guarantee we have every item in stock all the time, we have to order in as we can fill a pallet to keep the cost of transport reasonable for us and for you.
If the product is on this website, it will be in stock.
If you'd like to order a specific quantity of bags or request a product we don't currently have in stock, please get in touch. We'll place the order for you and notify you as soon as it arrives so we can arrange delivery or pick up time.
